Lookbook: Vacation Edit

Hey Guys!

Finally, I am back with a new post after forever! It took me two weeks to post this, because firstly, I was on vacation and didn’t bring any work with me, and secondly, after I got back to New York, I had to prepare for my finals. I am so excited, that I am done with my finals, and I am off for another 2 weeks which means I can work on the blog and you’re going to be seeing more posts than usual 😀

I am a beach person (ALWAYS & FOREVER), so when I was planning to take a break, Cancún was my first choice. I was there for a week and was staying in Emporio Cancún, with an AMAZINGGG view. My idea of a vacation is to chill by the pool, take walks by the beach, read a book and eat some yummy food, and thats exactly what I did in Mexico!

This was such a beautiful place, so I decided to shoot a lookbook for you guys! For the first look, I went with an off-the shoulder blue top and shorts, both from Forever 21. As for my accessories, I wore a crescent choker and tinted sunglasses from Forever 21, and a straw hat from Macy’s.

For my second outfit, I wore a white blouse from H&M for $7 (I got lucky with the H&M sale) and high-waisted denim shorts from Aeropostale. Again, I wanted the entire outfit to be effortless and light, since it was very hot in Mexico. The top has a very pretty lace detailing on the back, and works great as a bathing suit coverup.

For the last look, I wore a white lace top and a light washed denim shorts from H&M. By now, you can tell that I went for lighter colors, and trust me I didn’t plan this. When I went shopping, I found the tops that I was looking for, but all them turned out to be blue or white. I had no problem with it, because I prefer lighter colors for the summer!

All the outfits are affordable and perfect for a beach vacation. This was by far my favorite post, and I enjoyed putting these looks together. I hope you guys liked this post and got some inspiration. I have linked all the outfits in the post. You can find more photos from my vacation on my Instagram, so be sure to follow me there! 🙂

Love. Chethana Moova.
